7:07 pm	OMG. A wonderful lady wrote my plot bunny! =D *squees!* Hello everyone! Been slightly absent lately... actually lol, I've been really absent. RL has been uber hectic lately, but this weekend I finallyyyyy got some good free time being that Monday is a holiday and college was canceled on Friday due to a pending hurricane threat - the hurricane has passed, and everything is pretty okay on Grand Cayman (the two smaller islands got damaged pretty badly though :[). Other than that I'm HAPPY to say that YAY - a plot bunny that I sent out into the H/D fandom a while back (2007-07-19 to be exact lol) has been COMPLETED!! WOOHOO!! XD I was so excitedly, happily, enthusiastic when I saw that someone had done it that I started jumping around and clapping and squeeing. It's done just how I love my boys :] anya_elizabeth from here on IJ & LJ did it and OMG it's effing BRILLIANT! Here's a link to it. 10:36 pm	Enchanted Jae on LJ If one has not done so yet, one should most definitely check out Enchanted Jae's fics on LiveJournal. I'm not sure if she has a journal here, but I'll be sure to check. She writes some of the most amazing Harry/Draco fics, and some of thee BEST smut in the fandom - without a doubt. She's got all kinds of wonderful fics for you to read. Short fics, medium fics, long fics - you name it. And you can even put in a request for your birthday and she might write you something! How terrific is that? PLUS she updates almost daily - if not daily. What more could you ask for??? OH! The link - right! ;] Lol. Without further ado; What should be known as H/D heaven. Enjoy! If the plural of man is always called men, Why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen? If I speak of my foot and show you my feet, And I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet? If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth, Why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth? Then one may be that, and three would be those, Yet hat in the plural would never be hose, And the plural of cat is cats, not cose. We speak of a brother and also of brethren, But though we say mother, we never say methren. Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him, But imagine the feminine: she, shis and shim! Let's face it - English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England. We take English for granted, but if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square, and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend. We park in a driveway and drive in a parkway. And how can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out, and in which an alarm goes off by going on. 4:34 pm	Why I'm Here Okay, so I'm new to InsaneJournal, although I'm pretty sure it works almost the same as LiveJournal, so I'm not too worried. I only really signed up so that I could have updates to Jordan Grant's amazing fic "Owned". Brilliant. Bloody brilliant I tell you. Everything about it just makes me want to yell at the top of my lungs how much I love Harry/Draco, and how much I love how she portrays Harry in this fic. It's a WIP, which I normally don't deal with because I hate suspense lol, so I prefer to be able to sit down and read all of it in one go. But the wait is making the fic even better! Anywhoos, I'm an avid Harry/Draco fan, so any recommendations will be gladly appreciated. Oh, once they stay away from Major Character Death; a.k.a I don't want a fic where Harry or Draco dies it in. No ghost fics either please. :S I love bottom!Draco, so if you can rec me a fic that I haven't already read - I will send you tons of virtual chocolate chip cookies! ^_^ Well, that's all for now folks.. off to re-read Safe House by Professor McKitten over at The Hex Files.
